About Me

My photo
Tirau, South Waikato, New Zealand
I am a mother firstly! But I am married to an exceptional man called Tom. We live in a tiny cottage on a dairy farm 2.5 hours south of Auckland, in the South Waikato with 1.100 cows, 4 S. African families who help to run the farm for the Kiwi owners. We love living this simple life, watching the cows, rabbits, Pukekohes, ducks, starlings, etc., growing our own organic veggies, seeing family and friends, going to church and praying. I have a daughter Jenny and Tom has 6 children, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, so I have been given a lovely BIG family! I am a Bowen Therapist & Emotional Freedom Technique counsellor. I love this work and miss my clients, since moving tothe countryside. I am determined to be healed from metastatic breast cancer. If it weren’t for my faith, my husband, daughter, friends, a huge group of dedicated people praying for my recover, there would be times where I would be less strong. I am so lucky to be blessed with many kind, loving people, who make it possible for me to laugh each day! I hope you too have a wonderful day, filled with blessings showered on you by our loving Father!

As I will only get on the bus at about 10pm, which means I have some time to kill, but I will have my luggage with me probably.

I know this sounds like a very exhausting trip, but in order to get more of a feeling for Mexico, I would like to do this. The other thing is that I have been told I can sleep stretched out in the night, which means I should get a good night's sleep. If needs be, I can cut out San Cristobal and go straight to Palenque instead. Which would give me either an extra day at Palenque or Oaxaco or Cancun.

TAKE BUTTER PLEASE

Pass The Butter .. Please .

                                            This is interesting . .. ...

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow colorings and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavourings.

DO YOU KNOW... The difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...  it gets very interesting!
  • Both have the same amount of calories.
  • Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine.
  • Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.
  • Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.
  • Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!
  • Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavours of other foods.
  • Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.
    And now, for Margarine..
    • Very High in Trans fatty acids .
    • Triples risk of coronary heart disease .
    • Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)
    • Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..
    • Lowers quality of breast milk.
    • Decreases immune response.
    • Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact....

HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERYINTERESTING!
    • Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC...
    • and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

    You can try this yourself:

Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

    • No flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)
    • It does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value;
    • Nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic . Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Share This With Your Friends.....(If you want to butter them up')!

Chinese Proverb: When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others.

Pass the BUTTER PLEASE , and forward to family and friends whose health you hold dear...

Take Note What Sharia Law Entails

THIS IS VERY SCARY IF TRUE ???????
You can copy and paste the book titles into Google and get
some reviews on her books, it is very scary stuff.

    Being a Muslim woman:

This was written by a woman born in Egypt as a Muslim.  Make sure you read the paragraph (in red) towards the end.

    Joys of Muslim Women

    By Nonie Darwish

In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child, consummating the marriage by 9.  The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce.
To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry.  The family has the right to execute her (an honour killing) to restore the honour of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and the man does not have to say why he has beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have 4 wives and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.

In the Western World (UK) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her.  It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the
    Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.
    Ripping the West in Two
. Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual
Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.

Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza    before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel .  He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for
jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.

But Darwish developed a sceptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own
Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping Shariah law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries?

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Shariah on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual.  Islamic law (Shariah) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the
Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Shariah teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an
Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in
religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.K. To elect the Prime Minister by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA ... Dearborn Michigan , is one... And there are others...
I think everyone in the USA , Australia , UK , should be required to read this, but with the ACLU there is no way this will be widely publicised unless each of us sends it on!

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful. Some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam. The peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. While America is getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America ..

This is your chance to make a difference...! Pass it on to your email list or at least those you think will listen.

WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS, THINK OF YOUR OWN DAUGHTERS, GRANDDAUGHTERS AND NIECES

These are pictures not shown on American TV or in American Newspapers, but were forwarded by a Canadian who thought All Christians ought to know.

     Mass Muslim Marriage in  Gaza

    cid:9C03CAB79FB44AF3A61C6802EA2F667C@MontgomeryPC

Mohammed married a six year old bride. But Islam has evolved in 1500 years. In Hamas land, in 2009, the brides are almost seven.

    Mass Muslim Marriage in Gaza

450 Grooms Wed GIRLS Under Ten In  Gaza By
    Paul L. Williams, Ph.D.
MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "thelastcrusade..org" claiming to be Thelastcrusade! ..org
A gala event has occurred in Gaza .  Hamas sponsored a mass wedding for four hundred and fifty couples.  Most of the grooms were in their mid to late twenties; most of brides were under ten.

Muslim dignitaries including Mahmud Zahar, a leader of Hamas, were on hand to congratulate the couples who took part in the carefully staged celebration.

We are saying to the world and to America that you cannot deny us joy and happiness, Zahar told the grooms, all of whom were dressed in identical black suits and hailed from the nearby Jabalia refugee camp.
Each groom received a gift of 500 dollars from Hamas.  The pre-pubescent girls dressed in white gowns and adorned with garish make-up! , received bridal bouquets.

We are presenting this wedding as a gift to our people who stood firm in the face of the siege and the war, Local Hamas strongman Ibrahim Salaf said in a speech.

The wedding photos tell the rest of the sordid tale.

The International   Center for Research on Women now estimates that there are 51 million child brides now living on planet earth and almost all in Muslim countries.

Twenty-nine percent of these child brides are regularly beaten and molested by their husbands in Egypt ; twenty six percent receive similar abuse in Jordan ...

Every year, three million Muslim girls are subjected to genital mutilation, according to UNICEF.  This practice has not been outlawed in many parts of America.

Why would anyone think that we should be at war with such nice, peaceful Muslims?   You need to forward this one to everyone!  These pictures tell it all!
Muslims have stated that England will be the first country they take over!

Doing by Not Doing - Owen Waters - Wu Wei

Wouldn’t it be just great if life suddenly became a lot easier? What if, instead of working hard to complete a project, it all just flowed together in one easy-moving path towards perfect completion?

Such is the promise of the Eastern philosophy of Wu Wei (“Woo-Way”), which promotes the idea of “doing by not doing.” When nothing is done, it says, nothing is left undone.

When nothing is done... excuse me? When I first encountered this stark contradiction I became seriously worried about my brain cells short-circuiting and melting. The more I thought about it, the more convinced I became that I was starting to smell smoke coming out of my ears!

Later, at an older and riper age, I began to see the idea behind the apparent contradiction. The alternative translation of “action without effort” instead of “doing by not doing” helped to clarify the original idea. I came to realize that if, instead of trying to make something happen by the usual efforts of planning, willpower and determination, you go within and see the action accomplished, then something very different happens. The action doesn’t mysteriously become accomplished by non-effort, but you experience a state of flow which enables you to move through the task with ease, grace and incredible efficiency.

A leading light in positive psychology today is Hungarian-American professor Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. (In case you’re wondering, his last name is pronounced, “Cheek-sent-me-high-ee.”) His focus on happiness and creativity led to the concept of flow, which is a state of concentration or complete absorption in an activity. He points out that developing a state of flow leads to higher skill development and the ability to meet higher challenges within a chosen field.

The message of Wu Wei is to develop exactly such a state of flow and to do it by developing deeper states of inner awareness. The easiest way to invoke a state of flow, therefore, is to go within, attune with your inner being and the intended task, then come out into the world of action and carry out your intuitive guidance every step of the way until the task is completed.

In a state of flow, the action is guided from within and the doer virtually vanishes into the deed.

The key to creating the desired state of flow is that, because your inner being is fully attuned with the universe, you can then act in a manner which is perfectly aligned with all other circumstances related to your work. This is how synchronicity happens and coincidences become commonplace in your life. People, ideas and materials all come together at the exact right time and in the right place because flow is an orchestration of the many, not just the one.

You can be the main person conducting the work, but the universe responds to your inner connection and brings to you everything that you need with effortless coincidence.

The message of Wu Wei is that there is a time and a place for everything to come together for effortless achievement. By intending a goal and connecting with your inner being, you start the creation of that perfect time and place by attracting all the resources you need to achieve the goal. Then, by acting exactly when the energy feels right, you express the flow of ideas and energy which pour forth from your inner being.

Achievement becomes effortless, and the realm of being has become manifest in the world of action. You will have achieved success by alignment with the realm of not doing.

    FEMALE HEART ATTACKS

    A NURSE'S HEART ATTACK EXPERIENCE
    I am an
ER nurse and this is the best description of this event that I have
ever heard. Please read, pay attention, and send it on!

    FEMALE HEART ATTACKS
I was aware that female heart attacks are different, but this is the best description I've ever read.
Women and heart attacks (Myocardial infarction).
Did you know that women rarely have the same dramatic symptoms that men have
    when experiencing heart attack?
You know, the sudden stabbing pain in the chest, the cold sweat,
grabbing the chest and dropping to the floor that we see in the movies?

Here is the story of one woman's experience with a heart attack..

"I had a heart attack at about 10:30 PM with NO prior exertion, NO prior emotional trauma that one would suspect might have brought it on. I was sitting all snugly and warm on a cold evening, with my purring cat in my lap, reading an interesting story my friend had sent me, and actually thinking, 'A-A-h, this is the life', all cozy and warm in my soft, cushy Lazy Boy with my feet propped up.

A moment later, I felt that awful sensation of indigestion, when you've been in a hurry and grabbed a bite of sandwich and washed it down with a dash of water, and that hurried bite seems to feel like you've swallowed a golf ball going down the esophagus in slow motion and it is most uncomfortable.  You realize you shouldn't have gulped it down so fast and needed to chew it more thoroughly and this time drink a glass of water to hasten its progress down to the stomach.  This was my initial sensation---
the only trouble was that I hadn't taken a bite of anything since about 5:00 PM.
After it seemed to subside, the next sensation was like little squeezing motions that seemed to be racing up my SPINE (hind-sight, it was probably my aorta spasms), gaining speed as they continued racing up and under my sternum (breast bone, where one presses rhythmically when administering CPR). This fascinating process continued on into my throat and branched out into both jaws.

AHA!! NOW I stopped puzzling about what was happening -- we all have read and/or heard about pain in the jaws being one of the signals of an MI happening, haven't we?

I said aloud to myself and the cat, 'Dear God, I think I'm having a heart attack'! I lowered the foot rest dumping the cat from my lap, started to take a step and fell on the floor instead.  I thought to myself, If this is a heart attack, I shouldn't be walking into the next room where the phone is or anywhere else ... But, on the other hand, if I don't, nobody will know that I need help, and if I wait any longer I may not be able to get up in a moment. I pulled myself up with the arms of the chair, walked slowly into the next room and dialed the Paramedics ....

I told her I thought I was having a heart attack due to the pressure building under the sternum and radiating into my jaws.  I didn't feel hysterical or afraid, just stating the facts.  She said she was sending the Paramedics over immediately, asked if the front door was near to me, and if so, to un-bolt the door and then lie down on the floor where they could see me when they came in. I unlocked the door and then laid down on the floor as instructed and lost consciousness, as I don't remember the medics coming in, their examination, lifting me onto a gurney or getting me into their ambulance, or hearing the call they made to St. Jude ER on the way, but I did briefly awaken when we arrived and saw that the radiologist was already there in his surgical blues and cap, helping the medics pull my stretcher out of the ambulance.  He was bending over me asking questions (probably something like 'Have you taken any medications?') but I couldn't make my mind interpret what he was saying, or form an answer, and nodded off again, not waking up until the Cardiologist and his partner had already threaded the teeny angiogram balloon up my femoral artery into the aorta and into my heart where they installed two side by side stints to hold open my right coronary artery.

I know it sounds like all my thinking and actions at home must have taken at least 20-30 minutes before calling the paramedics, but actually it took perhaps 4-5 minutes before the call, and both the fire station and St. Jude are only minutes away from my home, and my Cardiologist was all ready to go to the OR in his scrubs and get going on restarting my heart (which had stopped somewhere between my arrival and the procedure) and installing the stints.

    1. Be aware that something very different is happening in your body not the usual men's symptoms but inexplicable things happening (until my sternum and jaws got into the act).  It is said that many more women than men die of their first (and last) MI because they didn't know they were having one and commonly mistake it as indigestion, take some Mallox or other anti-heartburn preparation and go to bed, hoping they'll feel better in the morning when they wake up ..... which doesn't happen.  My female friends, your symptoms might not be exactly like mine, so I advise you to call the Paramedics if ANYTHING is unpleasantly happening that you've not felt before.  It is better to have a 'false alarm' visitation than to risk your life guessing what it might be!

    2. Note that I said 'Call the Paramedics.' And if you can take an aspirin.  Ladies, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!  Do NOT try to drive yourself to the ER - you are a hazard to others on the road. Do NOT have your panicked husband who will be speeding and looking anxiously at what's happening with you instead of the road.  Do NOT call your doctor -- he doesn't know where you live and if it's at night you won't reach him anyway, and if it's daytime, his assistants (or answering service) will tell you to call the Paramedics..  He doesn't carry the equipment in his car that you need to be saved!  The Paramedics do, principally OXYGEN that you need ASAP.  Your Dr. will be notified later.

    3. Don't assume it couldn't be a heart attack because you have a normal cholesterol count.  Research has discovered that a cholesterol elevated reading is rarely the cause of an MI (unless it's unbelievably high and/or accompanied by high blood pressure). MIs are usually caused by long-term stress and inflammation in the body, which dumps all sorts of deadly hormones into your system to sludge things up in there.  Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.

Let's be careful and be aware.  The more we know the better chance we could survive. Why have I written all of this to you with so much detail?  Because I want all of you who are so important in my life to know what I learned first hand."
